The Hungarian horse has been in this country longer than any other European warmblood and has also been the best kept secret. They have been sold selectively here for over 50 years. Many highly respected riders have been very competing with their Hungarian Horses. Linda Tellington Jones rode Hungarian Pallo as a hunter and in endurance,as well as Hungarian Duma in steeplechase. She road H. Nicsak in combined training and dressage, H. Brado as a hunter and placed in the top 10 at a Tevis Cup endurance race. Olympic medalist, Hilda Gurney, rode H. Pasha in dressage. Kerry Milliken with HMS Dash was also on an Olympic team. Jo Struby won numerous awards eventing with H. Nicholas. Several world championship medals have been won by Hungarian teams, and the list goes on. Hungarians are exceptional athletes with heart and an endearing quality that will win you over at first meeting.
Dam: Rachel (Han) by Raphael (Westf)Sam as we called him was imported to he United States from Germany. He was shown in show Jumping where he excelled in both Germany and United States. Was destined for the Equestrian Games but was sideline due to a tendon injury. We purchased this lovely stallion in his later years and he produced some of our finest foals. Sadly he has past but his brilliance is preserved in his son.

For pleasure contributed to four chamionship victories in eight years with he German showjumping team. Both riders won over 75 S-level classes, winning his last Grand Prix at the age of 18. he earned a life time e1.8 million.
For Pleasure has sire several licensed Hanoverian stallions. Many of them have also excelled in showjumping. Just to name a few (For Keeps), and (Barron).

In 1981, Raphael became the reserve champion ot the Oldenburg Stallion Licesning and finished third in his stallion Performance test, Raphael hardly produced any competition results, but immediately proved to be an important sire. He sired 22 licensed sons, including Radiator, Rocky, Ragazzo, Robinson and Raphanus, and produced both exceptional show jumping and Dressage offspring. Raphael's offspring have won to date 1,791,539e of prize money.
